The brand "Bund18" has therefore been successfully established by Bund18 Real Estate after two years' restoration, renovation, and opening as Shanghai's most high-end shopping, dining, and entertainment center. . Such establishment also resulted in a remarkable honor, Bund18 won the Award of Excellence in the 2006 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Awards for Culture Heritage Conservation for Bund18 Real Estate successfully restored and conserved the structures of the building and preserved the heritage value in the region. More importantly, Bund18 Real Estate showcase that the historical spirit can coexist with modern commercial value. Such comprehension has been the driving force behind Bund18 Real Estate to explore new valuables in the so-called old cultural heritage by effectively combining it with modern development.
